Welcome to the Woman of Faith series! In this post, we explore the question, “What is my worth in God’s
eyes?” and how understanding your value through faith can transform the way you see yourself. Many women
struggle with self-doubt, comparison, or measuring their worth by achievements or other people’s opinions, but
God’s perspective is different. Your value is not based on performance or perfection; it comes from being
uniquely created and deeply loved by Him. In this post, you’ll discover practical ways to embrace your God-given
worth, see yourself through His eyes, and grow in confidence, peace, and purpose.
Do you ever feel like your value depends on what you accomplish, what others think of you, or how “perfect”
you appear? You are not alone. Many women struggle with measuring their worth by external standards, but
the truth is, your true value comes from God, not from performance or approval.
Your identity is not in your achievements, your job title, your relationships, or even your ability to lead. It’s in
who God created you to be. Psalm 139:14 reminds us: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” When you internalize this truth, you stop chasing
validation from the world and start embracing the unique gifts and purpose God has placed within you.
You were created with a purpose only you can fulfill. Your talents, perspectives, and experiences make you
uniquely equipped for the life God has planned. Instead of comparing yourself to others or wishing you were
“more,” take a moment to notice your own strengths. What abilities do you have that bring joy, hope, or
inspiration to those around you? How can you use these gifts to serve God and others?

Guiding you to live with confidence, purpose, and peace every day.
Comparison is a thief of peace. It can make you feel inadequate, frustrated, or overlooked. But faith offers a
different perspective: you are enough, exactly as you are. When feelings of insecurity creep in, pause and
remind yourself that God’s love is constant and unconditional. Instead of competing with others, focus on
growing in your faith, your character, and your personal calling.
How does God see you? You are, loved, valuable and purposeful. When you look at yourself through His
eyes, you realize that your worth is never determined by mistakes, shortcomings, or external approval. You
are inherently worthy because He made you and delights in you. Let this truth guide your decisions, your
relationships, and the way you care for yourself.

Your probably occasionally think, "What is my Worth?". Remember, understanding your worth in faith is
a journey. Every moment you pause to recognize your gifts, practice gratitude, and affirm your identity in
God, you build a foundation of confidence, self-respect, and peace.
You are not defined by others’ opinions, your past mistakes, or your productivity. You are defined by God’s
love, your unique calling, and the courage to live authentically. Embrace each day as an opportunity to
honor your value and walk confidently in the purpose He has given you.
Embrace your worth, recognize your gifts, and walk
confidently in the purpose God has designed for you.

Find peace, guidance, and confidence through daily reflection in Scripture.
Here’s a poem someone shared with me, written to celebrate the truth of our identity in Christ
and inspired by Psalm 139 and Ephesians 1:11-23:
MY IDENTITY
I am not what I do.
I am not what I have.
I am not who others say that I am.
I am the beloved of God!
THAT’S WHO I AM!
And no one can take it from me!
I don’t have to worry,
I don’t have to hurry.
I can trust my Jesus
And share his love with the world.
Psalm 139
Ephesians 1:11-23
Have you ever thought to yourself "What is my Worth?" ?
This quote comes from evangelist Ashley Key on a Christian TV show. Here’s what she said:
"You are worthy, and you are deeply loved by a Creator who knows you personally and individually, who
created you uniquely and loves you with unconditional love. When you finally realize your worth and value, you
see that it comes from God’s unconditional love through His Son, Jesus Christ.
You will be loved no matter what you did in the past, whether good or bad, and no matter what you do in the
future. We all struggle with self-worth and insecurities, but God loves you and cares for you.
We all need help in life, and we all need forgiveness for our sins. We receive that forgiveness when we receive
Christ into our lives. When you welcome Christ and surrender to Him, acknowledging that you don’t always
know what’s best for your life, He shows you the way and directs your path.
You begin to recognize how valuable you are, how much you are loved, and how cherished you are. God’s love
is beautiful, and I want you to experience it, a new life. Allow God to renew your mind and heart and transform
your life."
— Ashley Key, speaking on a Christian TV show
