Welcome to the Confident Woman series.
This is the third post in the series, Confident Business Woman - Adriana's Story created especially for women
entrepreneurs who want to build confidence in a way that feels steady, supportive, and unhurried. In this post, you’ll be
inspired by Adriana’s journey—a woman who once struggled with self-doubt and, through self-trust, mentorship, and
consistent effort, grew into a confident business woman and achieved her goals.
Adriana Gallardo came to the United States from Mexico with a dream and a deep desire to build a better future.
Like many women stepping into unfamiliar territory, her early days were filled with uncertainty. New surroundings, a
new language, and not knowing where to begin affected her confidence and left her questioning herself.
Her experience reminds us that self-confidence doesn’t disappear because we lack ability — it often fades when
we are navigating change, pressure, and the unknown.
During this challenging time, Adriana’s mother became her greatest mentor and source of strength. She offered
encouragement when Adriana needed it most, reminding her to believe in herself, take small steps forward, and begin
where she was. With her mother’s support, Adriana found the courage to look for work and take her first steps toward
independence.
Over time, those small actions began to add up. With each experience and every small success, Adriana’s
confidence slowly grew stronger. What once felt overwhelming became more manageable, and self-doubt gradually
gave way to self-belief.
As Adriana continued moving forward, she reached a point where she felt ready to take a leap of faith. She
started her own car insurance company — not because she had everything figured out, but because she trusted herself
enough to try. Through persistence, learning, and self-belief, she built a thriving business and developed the steady
confidence she once thought she lacked.
Adriana’s journey shows us that confidence is not something we are born with. It is something we build, step by
step, through experience, encouragement, and trust in ourselves.
As her mother wisely told her:
“The power is within you, and your future is in your hands.”
— Adriana Gallardo’s mother
These words guided Adriana as she grew into her confidence, becoming a confident business woman and building
a successful business in the United States.
They remind us that true confidence comes from trusting ourselves and taking aligned action — even when the
path ahead feels uncertain.
🙌 Who in your life encourages you, celebrates your progress, and holds you accountable as you chase your goals? 🎯

In 2023, I attended Adriana Gallardo’s Leadership
Conference, where I had the opportunity to meet her in
person. Her passion, presence, and grounded wisdom left a
lasting impression on me. Listening to her story and insights—
especially how she became a confident business woman—
sparked my own desire to grow as a calm, confident leader.
Later, I read her book, Cómo ser una mujer
chingona—often translated as How to Be a Confident,
Empowered Woman—which offered powerful mindset shifts
and thoughtful lessons that supported my own confidence and leadership journey.
What stood out to me most was not just her success, but her emphasis on self-belief, perseverance,
and taking one step at a time.
Adriana’s story is not about comparison or pressure. It’s a reminder that confidence grows differently for every
woman. Whether you are building a business, navigating change, or learning to trust yourself more deeply, your path is
valid — and your pace matters.
Confidence doesn’t require perfection. It begins with small, steady choices: listening to yourself, honoring your
needs, and taking one step forward when you’re ready. Over time, those moments quietly build a confidence that feels
grounded, resilient, and true to who you are.
Adriana’s story reminds us that meaningful change doesn’t happen all at once. It unfolds over time, through
intention, patience, and small moments of courage. You don’t have to rush or force yourself to take big steps before
you’re ready.
Confidence and clarity often begin quietly, with a simple decision to honor what matters to you. If you feel called to
move toward a goal or a dream, one of the most powerful first steps you can take is to write it down. Take a few
moments to open a journal and gently name what you desire—without judging it, questioning it, or explaining it to
anyone else.
When you write your goals and look at them each day, something subtle begins to shift. Awareness grows.
Motivation awakens. And when the time is right, the desire to take action often rises naturally from within.
You don’t need to push yourself or compare your journey to anyone else’s. Action becomes meaningful when it
comes from readiness, not pressure. Trust that your heart knows when it’s time to move forward—and trust that every
small step counts.
Faith can also be a steady source of strength along the way. When doubt appears, remember this truth:
“With God all things are possible.”
Your dreams were placed in your heart for a reason. Take your time. Stay connected to what matters most to you.
When intention, faith, and self-trust come together, the path forward begins to open—gently, steadily, and in a way that
honors who you are.
You’ve taken important steps on your journey to becoming a strong, confident woman. Every small choice you make
—trusting yourself, speaking your truth, showing up fully—is building a foundation that lasts.
